Community Eligibility Program

All Corpus Christi ISD campuses are participating in the Community Eligibility Provision program where all students eat free regardless of economic status.  Guardians of these students will not complete a free/reduced lunch application but will complete an Income Survey.  The district must continue to obtain economic status data on students attending CCISD campuses in order to remain compliant with state reporting and to receive money for grants and programs.  The Income Survey is part of the Online Registration process.  Please click on the appropriate link below to Enroll or Re-Enroll your student.

Online Enrollment Requirements

Are you new to CCISD? The following information is required for Online Registration:

  1. Only a parent/guardian is allowed to register a student online in the Corpus Christi Independent School District.
  2. You will need a valid email account in order to register online.
  3. You will need to bring the following required documents to campus:
    • Birth Certificate
    • Immunization Records
    • Social Security Card
    • Proof of Residence (in-District) - Current Utility Bill (water, light, gas, rent receipt, lease agreement with guardian's name and address).
    • Recent school records and/or report card
    • An existing court order pertaining to the child (if applicable)



Pre-K Enrollment

Registration is NOT COMPLETE until additional paperwork is completed at the home campus and supporting documents are verified during Prekindergarten Registration on May 22, 2018. Eligible prekindergarten students will be placed in pre-k slots at home or neighboring campuses in the order of on-site registration. Prekindergarten eligibility is based on guidelines set forth by the State.



New to CCISD: Tuition-Based Pre-K

Beginning in the 2018-2019 school year, CCISD will offer tuition-based prekindergarten on three elementary school campuses. If your student does not qualify for the district’s free prekindergarten program, parents have the option to send their child to the tuition-based program at our public schools. Classes are staffed with a certified teacher and feature a high-quality curriculum. The cost of tuition will be $520 per month. Schools offering tuition-based prekindergarten are Dawson Elementary, Luther Jones and Mireles Elementary School. Re-enrollment Verification 
 

 

The following is required for updating student information online:

  1. Only a parent/guardian is allowed to update student information online.
  2. Parent/guardian will need to provide a valid email address to the campus where their student will attend.
  3. When the Re-enrollment Verification Window opens in August of 2018, guardians will be sent a 15-character Snapcode via email. The Snapcode will be required to update student information. Your email will include instructions, as well as a link to the system. Please note that this system is separate from eSchool Home Access Center so you will be required to create a separate account.
  4. If you have not received the student’s Snapcode by the first week of school, please contact your school directly to obtain it.
 

This  Feature will allow you to update demographic data for all students in the family.  Parents/Guardians will be able to conveniently update student enrollment information from any computer with internet access.  Public computers with internet access are available at CCISD campuses and local public libraries.

Re-Enrollment Verification

Please remember it is important that you complete the Re-enrollment Verification process before the start of school. Due to state reporting requirements, the district must collect the most up to date information regarding your student at the start of every school year. It is important that you review the information that is currently stored on your student such as emergency contact persons, telephone numbers, privacy flags, etc. to ensure that the information is correct. Also by completing the Re-enrollment process, you enable the District to report accurate information on district students which will affect accountability ratings and federal funding.

The Office of  Student Support Services accepts lottery applications for the Metro Schools of Design and the Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) every February through April.
